8th NZ Classic Car Rally (Cromwell)

A multi-sport event, the Goldrush Multisport Event sees sports enthusiasts challenge central Otago while following the path of New Zealand pioneers. Competitors bike, run, and kayak along a 375 km (233 mi) track that passes numerous historic sites, including two old rail tunnels. Bicycles and improved pathways mean distances that would have taken New Zealand's first settlers two days to travel can be done in less than two hours.
